JORDAN RAY
MBACP DipCBT MNCPS (Acc.).
Background & Experience
My journey into therapy began with a BA in Education and Social Services which inspired my interest in how people develop and learn and how they engage with support services. Through my work in advocacy, I helped children, young people and young adults to have their voices heard during critical life transitions, ensuring they felt supported and empowered.
From there, I pursued a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), gaining valuable experience supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. My work has spanned settings such as an NHS Occupational Health Service and a local charity, where I provided compassionate, goal-oriented care both in 1:1 and group settings.
I further expanded my expertise as a Treatment Practitioner, guiding clients through the complexities of behavioural addiction recovery. I then worked as a coordinator of support for trauma survivors, grounded in trauma-informed practices. My role focused on placing each individual’s goals at the heart of the support process, ensuring autonomy, choice, and collaboration to help clients feel empowered and in control of their journey.
Today, I run my own private practice, Branch Beyond Therapy, where I specialise in helping clients with anxiety management, building confidence, and improving self-esteem among other challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to client's unique needs, combining evidence-based techniques with empathy and compassion.

I’m also deeply committed to ongoing learning and professional development and I regularly attend training to enhance my skills. Some of my recent professional development includes:

-
Various Training around Trauma and its Neurobiological Impact
-
Providing Trauma Skilled Care
-
Working with ADHD
-
Compassion-Focused Therapy
-
ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
